Today, the Reitaisai (Annual Festival) and Shinkosai (Divine Procession) are taking place at the Kyoto Ebisu Shrine.
A sacred mikoshi (portable shrine) carrying the deity Ebisu will be paraded through the thirty-six local parish neighborhoods in a divine procession known as “Owatari.”
