For over 140 years, Endo has been welcoming guests to its restaurants on the historical and atmospheric streets of the Gion district, Kyoto — offering authentic Japanese cuisine in the heart of the city's most storied neighborhood.

Originally founded as an ochaya teahouse where geisha would perform, we have honored that heritage and status while also continuing to innovate. Endo has embraced new styles and is always striving for new levels of culinary excellence.

Just beyond the precincts of Kennin-ji, one of Japan's oldest Zen temples, our main restaurant lies hidden away on tranquil Yasaka-dori in the backstreets of Gion where overlooked auspiciously by Gojunoto Pagoda.

At all our secluded locations in Higashiyama, whether Gion, Yasaka or Okazaki, we infuse long-held tradition with modern sensibilities while continuing to inherit the hospitality of Ochaya. We are constantly offer new and original dining options that reflect the discernment and talent of our highly trained chefs.

- This service is available for guests who book the Special Tempura Kaiseki "Higashiyama" (33,000 JPY) at Yasaka Honten, the Special Tempura Kaiseki "Kissho" (28,600 JPY) at Okazaki-tei, or the Tempura Course "Sagano" (16,500 JPY) / Kyoto-style Shabu-shabu "Tanba" (16,500 JPY) at Yasaka Endo THE CELESTINE KYOTO GION.
- Please specify a pick-up location, such as a major hotel or ryokan in Kyoto city, JR or private railway stations, or JPD Kyoto Heliport. (We can also pick you up from your residence within the city.)
- Please inform us of your preferred date, time, and location at the time of reservation. (Please note that we may not be able to accommodate your request depending on the schedule, such as during peak seasons.)
- This complimentary service is exclusively available for Yasaka Honten (North, South, and West residences), Okazaki-tei, and Yasaka Endo THE CELESTINE KYOTO GION.
- Vehicles used: LEXUS LM, Mercedes Maybach S-class, or equivalent models (selection will be at our discretion).

- For guests requesting a "Sightseeing Flight" over Kyoto or an "Access Flight" to Kansai/Narita Airports, Tokyo, etc., we can also act as an agent to arrange bookings with Kyoto Heliport.

* For vehicle interior cleaning, we use "Stabilized Chlorine Dioxide" or "Hypochlorous Acid Water," which are proven to effectively eliminate a wide range of viruses.
* Our drivers wear masks at all times and sanitize their hands with alcohol before each ride.
